Hopewell Avenue Public School

Hopewell Avenue Public School is home to over 850 students from Junior Kindergarten to grade 8. Hopewell offers a English program, a French Immersion program, Special Education and a Behaviour Intervention Program. 

Westboro Academy

Westboro Acedemy is a private school which provides bilingual education for boys and girls from JK to grade 8. They strive for academic excellence while providing small classroom sizes (maximum 18 students).


Astolot Educational Centre

 Astolot is an independent Day School and High School that strives to meet the individual learning needs of students. Students may be gifted, have dyslexia, dysgraphia, or have a social or emotional need for a small, respectful learning environment.

Capital Day Care

Capital Day Care is a licensed not-for-profit cooperative daycare center located in Old Ottawa South since 1973. The center welcomes up to 39 children, providing toddlers and preschoolers high quality education, care and meals.

Sunnyside Footsteps

Sunnyside Footsteps offers a full-day program for eligible children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years. Optional before and after-care from 7:45 a.m. until 5:15 p.m. is also available. This preschool is a subset of the Glebe Reggio Centre.
